Water birth of Vincent Landi

During my second pregnancy I was more self-confident, I felt very good and I wanted to try out a normal birth after my first son was born with a cesarean section.
Many people told me that I’d have to have a cesarian section again but there are cases that are different and mine is one of them.

I decided to give birth in Goa as for my first son Rubens. We like to live here in wintertime and we feel it is the best place to grow a baby. I was ready to have another operation und just hoping that it would be a normal birth…

A friend of mine told me about a midwife and her birthing center in Assagao. I started thinking to have a look over there. It took me three months till I had been ready to go but one day I knocked at the door and… uhahu, I felt so good at that place and Corinna was so nice and strong and gave me a good feeling and encouraging, so after another month I made my decision: I will be with her and she will follow me however it will go!

It was the best I could do and Vincent was born gently in the water. I have had my first experience in giving birth (naturally) and it was the most exceptional experience and best place to stay during birth.

After 3 hours we were back home all together Graziano, Rubens, little Vincent and me….
