A grandmother’s view

08.02.2008 was one of the most amazing and beautiful days of my life when my daughter Joanna (Jazz) gave birth to a perfect little boy, Xavier. I felt so privileged to be there with her.

He arrived open-eyed and swimming into the birthing pool to the sound of gentle music and the light of candles.
A short, intense and drug-free labour has produced the most calm and laid-back child. (How different from my experiences!!!)

Some of my U.K. friends raised their eyebrows when they heard that Joanna had chosen to give birth in Goa, but I can honestly say there is no better place than this Birthing Centre.


The ante and post natal care has been excellent and so very caring, and I cannot praise Corinna and Naveena enough.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
